Is IyalGarage free?
Yes, for one vehicle with full logging, the projection and the core trends. Pro is a one-time purchase for up to five vehicles and deeper analysis — no subscription.
How is the year-end number worked out?
It adds three things: what you have logged so far, the recurring costs still due this year, and your day-to-day spend per day multiplied by the days left. The overview shows each part.
Does it work for electric cars?
Yes — petrol, diesel, hybrid and fully electric. Charging is logged in kWh, and hybrids track litres and kWh separately against the same distance.
Does it track my location?
No. It never asks for location permission. Odometer readings are numbers you type, and no trip is ever recorded.
