It is a single line showing the trajectory of your balance through the month. The solid part is what you have logged; the dashed part is the projection to month end, based on your fixed costs and your spending pace so far.

The forecast needs a few days of entries before it appears — until then the app tells you it is still learning your pattern. It tightens with every entry.

Set your monthly income and recurring fixed costs once, and the runway accounts for them automatically. Use the month selector at the top of the overview to review or edit past months.

Turn on the optional end-of-day “did you log?” prompt in Settings → Notifications. It is off by default and there is only ever one per day.

No, deliberately. IyalPace never asks for banking credentials and uses no aggregator service. You enter what matters, which is also why there is nothing sensitive for anyone to intercept.

Settings → Reset all data wipes everything on the device. Uninstalling removes it too. There is no server-side copy to worry about.

Define insurance, road tax and loan payments once with their frequency, and they post themselves. They are included in the year-end projection whether or not they have been paid yet.

It adds three things: what you have logged so far, the recurring costs still due this year, and an estimated day-to-day figure based on your spend per day multiplied by the days remaining. The overview breaks the number into those parts so you can see where it comes from.

Petrol, diesel, hybrid and fully electric. EV charging is logged in kWh with cost per kWh, and consumption is reported in the unit that suits the vehicle.

No. The app requests no location permission at all. Odometer readings are numbers you type in, and no trip is ever recorded.

Yes. Each vehicle keeps its own costs, projection and trends, and you switch between them from the vehicle selector at the top of the overview.
